Back just before the crisis hit, I realised that I wanted to make a Scottish version of the popular Not Your Darling design. Changing the language to Scots was an obvious start, although wasn't enough. Then I remembered that I had not long since drawn a series of tartans for my icons series and thought that tartan would be the perfect addition to the design. The problem was, which tartan? So I put together some ideas and asked the interwebs.
Happily, the interwebs conclusively chose one design over the others – which does not always happen when I try this! The new design features the Chattan ancient tartan, with its gorgeous bright colours.
Like the previous Not Your Darling design, 50% of the profits from this design will be going to Scottish Women's Aid. They are the oldest women's aid organisation in Scotland and then do fantastic work.
