About this location

The largest and highest of three volcanic sites in city of Edinburgh, Arthur’s Seat occupies most of Holyrood Park. As one of the earliest sites of human settlement in the area, stories and myths surround the hill.

The artwork

The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
