At Indy Prints we stock prints, posters, cards, magnets and more that celebrate Scotland and its culture.
Our story begins in early 2013 when our designer and illustrator, Stewart Bremner, began to put more than a decade of experience and his strong design aesthetic to good use, getting involved in the campaign for Scottish independence. One of his designs caught people's attention and spurred him on to produce prints.
Following the unexpected success of these first print runs, Indy Prints was quietly born in July 2014, before bursting fully alive later that year. Since then, the scope of Indy Prints has broadened out, to include Scottish landscapes, Scots language and Scottish culture.
Stewart says: "I want to make work that highlights some of the length and depth of Scotland's culture. For too long our history and culture have been left out of our national consciousness and, in particular, out of our education. I hope that by creating and sharing my work, I can start conversations that might bring about a better understanding of our country, its culture and its past."
Indy Prints is run from Edinburgh and our products are made locally.
