Glesca Gemmes – small mounted print
The first Games to be held following the Second World War took place in Scotland’s biggest city. Originally awarded the games for 1944, they were postponed due to the war. A series of posters were created, featuring ancient Greek sporting statues placed with icons of Scotland’s modern powerhouse. This one shows the Finnieston Crane.
