About this location
Located on the western shore of Loch Ness near the village of Drumnadrochit, the ruins of this castle date from the 13th to 16th century. It was partly destroyed to prevent it being used by Jacobites in 1692 and deteriorated from then on. It is now one of the most-visited castles in the country.
The artwork
The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
