Parcel o rogues – art print
The Act of Union with England was signed by the Parliament of Scotland in 1707. Like many, Rabbie Burns saw this as an act of treachery, carried out by bribed nobles. 'Such a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation', written in 1791, strongly condemns the act. This design features the third stanza of the poem.
