The Politics collection brings together various pro-indy messages and statements. The collection began during the indyref campaign and has grown since.

About this piece

This upright version of the classic indyref image has more tartan than the original – and this time it's a real tartan. Since Scotland has no national tartan, I've used Caledonia, which was designed by Wilsons of Bannockburn in 1800. Now our wish for a better country has even more colour and is even more Scottish!

The artwork

Taking inspiration from art and design of the twentieth century, this drawing combines a bold pro-indy message with a familiar and historied style to quietly reassure the viewer.
