About this location

This Lighthouse, located at the southern tip of the Rhins of Galloway peninsula was built in 1830. It is notable for both its views to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, as well as having been struck by an aircraft during the Second World War.

The artwork

The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
