About this location
Situated on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, this castle famously appears near the end of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Its name derives from the Gaelic word ‘Stalcaire’, meaning ‘hunter’ or ‘falconer’.
The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
