About this piece

Keep the flame of independence alive! 

Drawn by former Yes Scotland graphic artist Stewart Bremner, this calendar features twelve colourfully illustrated messages to support the campaign to win Scotland’s independence.

January: big enough to prosper, small enough to care
February: independence means a country run for us, not them
March: Scotland is one of the wealthiest countries on earth, with independence we can make it one of the fairest as well
April: unchain the unicorn
May: independence is normal
June: a future built with our hands, or a future built without us
July: Scottish independence will allow us to break free from the British ruling classes
August: only an independent Scotland can be free of nuclear weapons
September: we will win
October: an independent Scottish military could protect our waters, not invade other countries
November: Scotland has been mostly independent, not in the Union
December: believe in Scotland – believe in yourself
