About this location

Home to a large colony of gannets, this volcanic plug can be found near North Berwick in the outer part of the Firth of Forth. Uninhabited by humans today, it has previously been both the site of a castle and a prison. It is somehow owned by one man.

The artwork

The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
