About this location
This cast-iron, French-built fountain was gifted to the city and installed in Princes Street Gardens in 1872. It was refurbished and reopened in 2018, with a new paint scheme similar to the fountains of Place de la Concorde in Paris.
The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
