Firth of Clyde: Ailsa Craig – magnet
Home to a colony of gannets and puffins, this volcanic plug can be found in the outer part of the Firth of Clyde. Uninhabited by humans today, it had previously been a haven for catholics during the Scottish Reformation and is the origin of blue hone granite, a favourite of curling stone makers. It is somehow owned by one man.
Celebrate the beauty, power and spirit of Scotland with this handsome vintage-style travel magnet, drawn by Stewart Bremner.
