About this location

One of Scotland’s greatest castles, prior to the Union of the Crowns in 1603, this was one of the most-used Scottish royal residencies. It has been the site of many sieges and coronations, including that of Mary, Queen of Scots.

The artwork

The drawing takes inspiration from vintage travel posters, particularly the ones created during the inter-war period. It is offered in a choice of natural colours, or artistic ones that fully explore the creative legacy of those gorgeous old posters.
