About this piece

This upright version of the classic indyref image has more tartan than the original and the blue field of the Saltire has been replaced with the LGBTQI+BLM colours. Now our wish for a better country has even more colour and equality than before.

The artwork

Taking inspiration from art and design of the twentieth century, this drawing combines a bold pro-indy message with a familiar and historied style to quietly reassure the viewer.
